Brian's Photography- B & W, Family Portraiture, and Macros

Brian is such a wonderful photographer- and, he's getting better and better every day!  He does a wonderful job with family portraiture and is good at capturing little priceless moments.  Here are a few pictures from his photography:

A few of Crystal's creative projects:

They don't have pumpkins readily available in Mexico come Halloween-time... I made do with a watermelon!

My brother James is currently serving in The Texas McAllen Mission and we are so proud of him!!!  We thought he could use pajamas and a few tops that were fit for Texas and came up with these:

We sent James a package around his year-mark in the mission and made him a baby bib to let him in on our little secret... he's gonna be an Uncle!!!  (Yes, we also sent him the extravagant Thanksgiving turkey!)

Christmas 2009

Merry Christmas everyone!!!  May you have the best New Year yet!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours!  This year, we spent Thanksgiving with Crystal's side of the family- we had so much fun visiting with the cousins, Aunts, and Uncles!!!   Of course, the food was amazing and, thankfully, Crystal was even feeling well enough to enjoy it!  We are grateful for each and every one of you!!!

Our Little Baby (ultrasound pics)

Our first ultrasound was amazing and quite the experience!  Our little one looked like a tiny squished bug or a plucked baby chicken... kind of funny, but still cute as can be!  (baby around 7 wks.)

Our next ultrasound was beyond incredible and left us both in tears.  We got to hear the baby's heartbeat and saw it's little arm waving to us.  Sadly, the ultrasound pictures didn't turn out at all so you can't make out much at all, but the baby really is in there!  (baby around 9 wks.)

A couple of weeks later, we had our last visit with our fertility doctor in Reno.  We were able to hear the baby's heartbeat again and even saw it sucking its thumb. Our baby now looks like a little gummy bear! (baby almost 11 wks.)

We couldn't be happier and can't believe the miracle of life!!!  We are now seeing an OBGYN in Chico, CA and will keep you posted so you can share in our greatest joy!
